Dr. Amar Jyoti Basu with more than three decades of experience in handling IPR matters, specializing in drafting of patent specifications, written statements, handling of opposition matter pertaining to patents, designs, copyrights and trademarks; also appearing before Courts of Law for patent, trademark and design matters. Experience in handling of biodiversity and biotechnology matters before National Biodiversity Authority, Chennai.

Education : B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc. Ph.D.( Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry – 1974), LL.B.Faculty of IPR in West Bengal University of Technology, Salt Lake, Kolkata.
