Requirements for Formation of Company
 
The first step in forming a company is to obtain a DIN (a Director Identification Number). The next step is to obtain a DSC (Digital signature certificate for Directors). This certificate is required for proposed directors of the company.
 
The name of the company is then to be filed and approved by the Registrar of Companies.
 
The Memorandum of Association and the Articles of Association are then to be vetted by the ROC, printed and then stamped by the appropriate authority . Present the requisite documents to the registrar of companies and obtain the certificate of incorporation.
 
Next, an application is to be made to get the Permanent Account Number.
 
Registration for the value added tax in the sales tax office is then to be carried out. A Tax Account Number is then to be acquired. Next, registration for profession tax and Employees Provident Fund Organisation and ESIC is to be made out. If made for foreigners and NRIs, then approval of RBI is required.
